Goa (Cave) Petruk, a Must Cave To Visit for Cave Explorer
Saturday, November 22nd, 2008It was in 1992 when I and my frined planned to travel Java island through the southern side of Java. It was started from Bandung and ended in Mt Bromo, East Java. The most unforgottable spot was when we visited Goa (Cave) Petruk in southern Central Java. It is located at southern Gombong, a small city near Jogja.
Goa Petruk is only 7 km away from the wellknown Goa Jatijajar, which for me is no longer attractive since some man made ornamnet was built inside the cave. Different with Goa Jatijajar, Goa Petruk is still virgin, if I may say. It still consists of nature made architecture which amaze people who see it. The unique shape of stones created from water drop able to create an imagination. Some stones are animal look like, while the other may appear like human. This unique shapes may attract many people from many places to visit Goa Petruk. So, if you are cave explorer, or traveler who likes unique objects, Goa Petruk is a must cave to visit.
